My Week: 3

It’s late, I know.  But better late than never!  Not only does meeting my weekly deadline allow me to discipline myself, it gives me something to look forward to.  Writing to those that still read my stuff is a pleasure because you guys know more about me than some of my friends and family.  I get to show the other side of my personality.

Last week I wrote about saying hi to this guy I usually see at work.  Well, he beat me to the punch.  Now don’t get excited, it wasn’t anything cinematic, but he did speak to me.  He had some practice questions he wanted to give a different tutor and since she wasn’t there, he wondered if I could hold on to them.  Because I’m so quick on my feet, I replied with, “you know what, I can just makes copies of them real quick and leave it in her mailbox.”  Perfect.

To my surprise he followed me, even behind the front desk and watched while I made the copies.  A co-worker of mine even texted me asking me who he was (looks like I wasn’t the only one with my eye on him).  He’s mine.  I saw him first.

She said it seemed like he knew me by the way he spoke and behaved.  I told her we had just met 4.2 seconds ago.

I saw him again today, but he didn’t say anything.  I think he was just being friendly.  Still, I enjoyed every second he was near me.

Apart from that, nothing else happened.  I did decide I wanted to travel for my birthday so I’m looking for different destinations.  Any advice?  (Somewhere in the continental U.S.)

Oh, I almost forgot.  I found a publisher, a subset of the Big Five, that does accept manuscripts without the use of literary agent!  This gives me new hope and inspiration to finally finish my book, although I am about 70,000 words short.  Yikes.

Mh, perhaps I can post a chapter on here, just to see if its even worth pursuing.  What do you guys think?

  1. Yay, he talked to you. Hopefully, it blossoms into something 🙂 I’ll just keep reading. I feel like I’m binge watching something on Netflix. Just getting so much content at once
