Having friends brings nothing but disappointment.  Gets me to think what the point of life is.

  1. If friends make you feel that way, then they are not true friends. Get out there and enjoy life, find people that have the same interests, beliefs, and makes your inner core buzz

    1. The problem is that I have certain expectations of friends that surpasses how they actually are. Not many people do what I do (or rather, what I would do) for my friends. So when they don’t meet up to my expectations, there’s nothing but disappointment.

      1. I understand what you mean. Easier said than done, but don’t put such high expectations on people that you know are going to disappoint you. And find people that will meet those expectations

      2. I think that’s what the problem is. Every time I meet someone new I think, “Yeah, he or she seems like someone that would do this or do that.” So at this point, I don’t know they are going to disappoint me. I think I just have to learn to either expect disappointment (which I’ve actually started to do) or don’t have any expectations at all. But I’m human, so like you said, it’s easier said than done.
